RESOLUTION NO. 97-007

APPROVAL OF THE SMALL

COMMUNITIES GRANT PROGRAM POLICY

WHEREAS:

1. The voters passed Proposition 204 on November 5, 1996 providing $30 million for grants to construct wastewater treatment works for small, needy communities.

2. The Division of Clean Water Programs has prepared a draft Small Communities Grant Policy and distributed the draft for review and comment.

3. The comments received are generally in support of the Policy as drafted.

THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT:

The State Water Resources Control Board approves the Small Communities Grant Policy.

The undersigned, Administrative Assistant to the Board, does hereby certify that the foregoing is a full, true, and correct copy of a resolution duly and regularly adopted at a meeting of the State Water Resources Control Board held on January 23, 1997.
