RESOLUTION NO. 97-017

AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR OR HIS DESIGNEE TO

AMEND A CONTRACT WITH KATZ AND ASSOCIATES FOR FACILITATION , COORDINATION AND ADMINISTRATIVE ACTIVITIES AND SERVICES TO

THE SAN DIEGO INTERAGENCY WATER QUALITY PANEL

WHEREAS:

1. The State Water Resources Control Board (State Water Board) has contracted with Katz and Associates for the past year to provide administrative and facilitation services to the San Diego Interagency Water Quality Panel.

2. The original contract expires February 28, 1997. Funding in the amount of $300,000 was made available to provide services to the San Diego Interagency Water Quality Panel through the sunset date of the Panel, February 28, 1998.

3. Contract funding for the duration of the contract would not exceed $300,000.

THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT:

The State Water Board authorizes the Executive Director or his designee to amend the contract with Katz and Associates to provide an extension of the expiration date.
