RESOLUTION NO. 97-034

APPROVING NEGATIVE DECLARATION FOR APPROVAL OF WATER RIGHT APPLICATION 30298 TO APPROPRIATE WATER FROM AN UNNAMED STREAM TRIBUTARY TO COLEMAN VALLEY CREEK IN SONOMA COUNTY

WHEREAS:

1. The State Water Resources Control Board served as lead agency for preparation of an initial study and preparation of a proposed Negative Declaration for the project proposed in water right Application 30298.

2. The initial study and proposed Negative Declaration were circulated for agency and public review.

3. The State Water Resources Control Board has considered the initial study, the proposed Negative Declaration, the comments that were received during the public review process and the provisions of the proposed decision approving issuance of a water right permit on Application 30298.

4. The State Water Resources Control Board concludes that there is no substantial evidence that the project authorized by the proposed decision on water right Application 30298 will have a significant effect on the environment.

THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT:

The State Water Resources Control Board approves the Negative Declaration for the project which will be authorized by adoption of the proposed decision approving water right Application 30298.
