RESOLUTION NO. 97-038
APPROVAL OF A RESOLUTION PROVIDING A STATE REVOLVING FUND LOAN TO THE CITY OF SOUTH LAKE TAHOE TO CONSTRUCT THE SKI RUN WATER QUALITY IMPROVEMENT FACILITIES (SRF LOAN NO. C-06-6025-110)
WHEREAS:
1. The City of South Lake Tahoe (City) has requested a $1,998,000 SRF loan to construct the Ski Run Water Quality Improvement Facilities (Project).
2. The Project will address nonpoint source pollution causing degradation of storm water from oil, grease, salts, heavy metals and sediments draining into Lake Tahoe.
3. The Project complies with the Water Quality Control Plan for the Lake Tahoe Basin and the Lake Tahoe Basin Water Quality Plan.
4. The City completed a Negative Declaration to comply with the California Environmental Quality Act on May 17, 1989.
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT:
The State Water Resources Control Board approves an SRF loan of $1,998,000 for the City of South Lake Tahoe to construct the Ski Run Water Quality Improvement Facilities.
