WHEREAS:

1. The Sacramento Regional County Sanitation District has indicated that it proposes a reimbursable contract with the State Water Resources Control Board for the sum of $676,910 to support the Sacramento River Watershed Program.

2. The proposed agreement would use a portion of those funds, $418,910, to contract with the University of California to conduct toxicity studies.

3. The Regional Board would manage an Interagency Agreement with the University of California for $418,910 for two years.

THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT:

The SWRCB authorizes the Executive Director or his designee to negotiate, approve, and/or amend an Interagency Agreement with the University of California.
