WATER QUALITY

15. Consideration of a Resolution to Adopt a Water Quality Control Policy for Guidance on the Development of Regional Toxic Hot Spot Cleanup Plans. (Note: Items 1-14 were Workshop items)

Craig J. Wilson, Division of Water Quality, presented the item explaining two revisions to the Policy since the June Workshop discussion. Mr. Wilson also responded to comments received after the June 18 Workshop but received by the June 29 deadline.

Sharon Green and Jean-Mari Peltier addressed the Board.

Following the presentations and discussion by the Board, the Board directed the staff to notice a meeting between staffs of the State Water Board and Department of Pesticide Regulation to discuss issues raised related to the use of the word "accumulated", and to schedule this item for Board consideration at their August 26 Board meeting.

ADJOURNMENT

The Chairman adjourned the meeting at 10:20 a.m.
