Santa Maria Watershed TMDL - Neonicotinoid Pesticides
Information
Problem Statement - Surface waters in the lower Santa Maria River watershed are impaired for neonicotinoid pesticides and do not meet the Basin Plan narrative objectives for toxicity and pesticides. These streams are identified as impaired and prioritized for the TMDL development in the 2020-2022 California Integrated Report, which was adopted by the U.S. EPA on Mary 11, 2022.
