The Limited Threat General Order (R5-2022-0006-03) requires a 30-day public comment period for any proposed Alum Application Plan (AAP) submitted by Dischargers seeking coverage to apply alum for phosphorus sequestration under this Order. The Lake Wildwood Association has recently submitted their proposed AAP to apply alum to Lake Wildwood, located in Penn Valley, California. To be given full consideration, any comment or recommendation must be submitted to the Central Valley Regional Water Quality Control Board office via email at RB5S-NPDES-Comments@waterboards.ca.gov no later than 5:00 p.m. on 27 March 2025.
