Proposed Resolution Authorizing the Lahontan Water Board Supplemental Environmental Project Endowment Fund Pilot Project Agreement with the Truckee River Watershed Council

Overview

The Lahontan Water Board will be considering a resolution to approve an agreement that establishes a pilot project implementing a SEP Endowment Fund with the Truckee River Watershed Council. The proposed resolution allocates the remaining funds from the Northstar Mountain Properties SEP Escrow Account (currently estimated to be $704,790) to fund the pilot project.

The proposed Resolution directs Water Board staff to provide the Lahontan Water Board with an evaluation of the pilot project upon its completion and prior to full implementation of the Lahontan Water Board SEP Policy. (The resolution adopting the Lahontan Water Board SEP Policy is the subject of a separate Board item.)
