Alameda Point Pier 2 Fender Systems Repairs Project


The San Francisco Regional Water Quality Control Board is currently reviewing an application for the following project for water quality certification under Section 401 of the Clean Water Act. Project Description:

Alameda Point is a former military installation that supports a variety of maritime, commercial, industrial, and recreational uses. Pier 2 was built in 1940, and the primary structures consist of prestressed concrete piles and a concrete deck. The piers have all been subjected to decades of heavy use and marine exposure.
