| Project Description: |
Alameda Point is a former military installation that supports a variety of maritime, commercial, industrial, and recreational uses. Pier 2 was built in 1940, and the primary structures consist of prestressed concrete piles and a concrete deck. The piers have all been subjected to decades of heavy use and marine exposure. |
