Current Mandatory Minimum Penalty Cases

This is a notice of opportunity to comment on a proposed settlement between the San Francisco Bay Regional Water Board and the City of Millbrae to pay a statutory mandated minimum penalty of $6,000 for discharge limit violations. The violations occurred at the City of Millbrae Water Pollution Control Plant located at 400 East Millbrae Avenue, Millbrae in San Mateo County. This is a notice of opportunity to comment on a proposed settlement between the San Francisco Bay Regional Water Board and SUMCO Phoenix Corporation to pay a statutory mandated minimum penalty of $3,000 for a discharge limit violation. The violation occurred at the Former 401 National Avenue located at 620 National Avenue, Mountain View in Santa Clara County. The public comment period is open until 5:00 p.m. on March 2, 2026. This is a notice of opportunity to comment on a proposed settlement between the San Francisco Bay Regional Water Board and the City and County of San Francisco to pay a statutory mandated minimum penalty of $3,000 for a discharge limit violation. The violation occurred at the Southeast Water Pollution Control Plant located at 750 Phelps Street, San Francisco. The public comment period is open until 5:00 p.m. on March 6, 2026. The violations occurred at the Intuitive Surgical, Inc. Headquarters located at 950 Kifer Road, Sunnyvale, in Santa Clara County. The public comment period is open until 5:00 p.m. on March 6, 2026.
