| Project Description: |
The Pacific Gas and Electric Company (PG&E) owns and operates the Christie-Willow Pass 60kV Transmission Line to provide reliable electric service to customers located along Waterfront Road within the City of Martinez. The transmission line includes an existing set of mast towers that support the overhead electrical crossing at Pacheco Creek, a tidal waterway. The crossing was constructed circa 1964, and PG&E proposes to enhance system reliability by replacing the existing mast towers with tubular steel poles on concrete foundations supported by piles (Project). |
