Redwood Creek Habitat Enhancement Project


The San Francisco Regional Water Quality Control Board is currently reviewing an application for the following project for water quality certification under Section 401 of the Clean Water Act. Project Description:

The project objectives are to increase in-channel spawning and rearing habitat diversity and complexity for endangered coho salmon (Oncorhynchus kisutch) and threatened steelhead trout (Oncorhynchus mykiss); increase the extent of riparian habitat for the benefit of special status species; and increase floodplain and riparian woodland processes and functions.
