OWTS Policy General Information
The State Water Board adopted the Water Quality Control Policy for Siting, Design, Operation and Maintenance of Onsite Wastewater Treatment Systems (OWTS Policy) in June of 2012 and renewed its conditional waiver in April of 2018, for the first renewal and in April 2023 for the second renewal. Below are the 2018 and 2012 Policy and resolutions.
