SSO Reduction Program Review and Update
State Water Resources Control Board staff is conducting a review and update of the Sanitary Sewer Systems Waste Discharge Requirements (SSS WDRs), Order No. 2006-0003-DWQ, in 2009-2011. Program reviews and updates are conducted routinely to maintain consistency with current policies, regulations, and statutes.

A revised draft of the monitoring and reporting program for the statewide Sanitary Sewer Systems Waste Discharge Requirements was released on March 28, 2013 via the the "Sanitary Sewer Overflow (SSO) Reduction Program Data Review Committee" and "Sanitary Sewer Overflow (SSO) Reduction Program Order Review" email subscription lists. Please submit comments via email to: rnorman@waterboards.ca.gov by April 15, 2013.

The revised draft of the monitoring and reporting program for the statewide Sanitary Sewer Systems Waste Discharge Requirements was released on January 7, 2013 via the "Sanitary Sewer Overflow (SSO) Reduction Program Data Review Committee" and "Sanitary Sewer Overflow (SSO) Reduction Program Order Review" email subscription lists. Comments were due on January 22, 2013.
Data Review Committee Public Meetings – August 2012

The revised draft of the monitoring and reporting program for the statewide Sanitary Sewer Systems Waste Discharge Requirements was released on August 14, 2012 via the "Sanitary Sewer Overflow (SSO) Reduction Program Data Review Committee" and "Sanitary Sewer Overflow (SSO) Reduction Program Order Review" email subscription lists.
Staff subsequently held two workshops on the draft MRP in Northern and Southern California on August 28, 2012 and August 30, 2012, respectively, to receive comments. Over 90 stakeholders attended the workshops personally and over 80 attended through the Webcast. Following the meetings, staff solicited comment letters with a due date of October 2, 2012. Staff received a total of eight comment letters.
