The State Water Resources Control Board is seeking data on the quality of surface waters of the State and has asked the nine Regional Water Quality Control Boards to solicit this information from the public on its behalf. Information gathered will be used in various assessments of the State's waters including the development of a submission to the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency required by the federal Clean Water Act Section 303(d).
