    Underground Storage Tank (UST) Program - Leak Prevention

    The State Water Resources Control Board, Underground Storage Tank Leak Prevention Program develops regulations and guidance to assist underground storage tank (UST) stakeholders on UST construction, testing and monitoring. California UST code and regulations give Unified Program Agencies (counties, cities, or other agencies) authority to issue permits for tank operation and to enforce UST requirements within their jurisdiction.
