San Francisco Bay/Sacramento-San Joaquin Delta Estuary (Bay-Delta) Program
BAY DELTA TEAM
Staff from the State Water Board and the Central Valley and San Francisco Bay Regional Water Boards (collectively Water Boards) formed the Bay-Delta Team to improve coordination of the Water Boards activities in the San Francisco Bay and Sacramento-San Joaquin River Delta (Bay-Delta). The Bay-Delta Team is charged with developing a short and long-term program for addressing impacts to beneficial uses of water in the Bay-Delta. To that end, the Bay-Delta Team identified short and long-term actions in a joint resolution (Delta Actions Resolution), which was considered and adopted by the Water Boards:
- State Water Board Resolution No. 2007-0079, 86 KB, PDF
- Central Valley Regional Water Board Resolution No. R5-2007-0161, 47 KB, PDF
- San Francisco Bay Regional Water Board Resolution R2-2008-0009, 38 KB, PDF
The Delta Actions Resolution also directed staff to develop a strategic workplan that prioritizes the actions, establishes time schedules for implementing them, and identifies existing and needed resources.
Water Boards staff developed the June 2008 Draft Strategic Workplan for Activities in the San Francisco Bay/Sacramento-San Joaquin Delta Estuary (Strategic Workplan), which was subsequently adopted by the State Water Board Water Board on July 16th 2008 [Resolution No. 2008-0056, 26 KB, PDF], the Central Valley Regional Water Quality Control Board on September 11th 2008 [Resolution No. R5-2008-0134, 16 KB, PDF], and the San Francisco Bay Regional Water Quality Control Board [Resolution No. R2-2008-0096] on November 12, 2008.
