Drinking Water Operator Advisory Committee

The Health and Safety Code authorizes the State Water Resources Control Board (SWRCB) to appoint a group of subject matter experts to assist the SWRCB in carrying out its duties regarding drinking water treatment and water distribution operator examination and certification. Assembly Bill 2890 established the number of committee members and the type of entity they must represent. Each of the ten Advisory Committee members is nominated to represent a particular segment of the Drinking Water Treatment/Distribution field.
