Geotechnical Borings at the Oakland Ferry Terminal


The San Francisco Regional Water Quality Control Board is currently reviewing an application for the following project for water quality certification under Section 401 of the Clean Water Act. Project Description:

The San Francisco Bay Area Water Emergency Transportation Authority (WETA) is proposing to conduct in-water geotechnical borings at the Oakland Ferry Terminal in Oakland, California, as part of planning for a future ferry terminal modernization project. The future modernization project will include removal of the existing ferry passenger loading and mooring float and replacement with a new passenger float/universal charging float.
