Is your project eligible for CWSRF?

CWSRF can finance publicly owned treatment facilities, nonpoint source projects, and estuary projects. The most common types of application we receive are for wastewater treatment plants and sewer systems. Funding recipients are government entities, tribes, or non-profit organizations responsible for these projects. Our interest rate is half of the most recent General Obligation Bond rate. Does CWSRF offer grants?

Grants or principal forgiveness may be available for small, disadvantaged communities. Visit the Office of Sustainable Water Solutions for more information.

If you are interested in recycled water or stormwater projects, grants may be available aside from CWSRF funding. Check out the Water Recycling Funding Program and the Stormwater Grant Program. CWSRF principal forgiveness may be available for specific types of projects. More details can be found in the annual Intended Use Plan.

Are there other funding options for water projects?
